CHECKING IN & OUT

  • Checkout is any time on Tuesday to ensure time for the cleaner to tidy up before the next group arrives on Wednesday

  • Please have all taxis and Ubers pull into the carport area and avoid standing on the street with your luggage

  • Ensure the Jeep tank is filled up for the next group before leaving

  • Please put any towels on the floor next to the washing machine before leaving

  • Use of the premises is at your own risk. Wet surfaces can be slippery.
  • No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
  • No glass or ceramics by the pool. There are metal and plastic options in the cupboard for your use.
  • Feel free to pull the Roomba out of the pool while you swim. Just ensure you put it back in when you are finished to keep the pool nice and clean for next time.
  • Do NOT use the garburator. There is a lovely drawing over the sink on how to dispose of organics.
  • Check out what is left in the fridge before doing your shopping trip. We can avoid an army of half-full condiments, and you can save a few bucks!
  • Please be aware that noise travels on the mountainside. Be mindful at all times and ensure to refrain from playing loud music or shouting while on the property. This is a residential area where people live and work.
  • There are a number of dogs on the property. All are very friendly and would love to say hello!
  • The people of Kona are very energy conscious. Take time to make sure that lights and fans are turned off if you are not using the room.
  • Check all outdoor lights before turning in for the night. Don’t forget the pool and carport lights!
  • If you are leaving food from your stay for the next group, be sure to write a date with the Sharpie from the drawer.
